If speed is your thing, the Go Karts are waiting for you to scream around the track. Baseball players enjoy swinging at fast balls in the batting cage. The Trafalga arcade has classic games like air hockey, and some newer games including Guitar Hero, Deal or No Deal, and Ice Ball. Late Night Cosmic Golf and Black Light Indoor Mini Golf offer two twists on an old favorite. The XD theatre combines wind, motion, and sound with 3D movies for an experience you’ll never forget.

Trafalga provides a out-of-the-ordinary date night for married and single BYU students. If you go on a Thursday, you can take advantage of Trafalga’s $3 Thursday pricing and pay just three dollars for any attraction.

Trafalga Fun Center is located just a few miles west of Brittany Apartments in Orem. The address is 168 South 1200 West. If you take 1-15, it is just south of the Center Street Exit 271. If you come from Orem Center Street, travel west to 1200 west, take a left and Trafalga is on your right.

If your perception of a cave is a gray hole in a rock, you have never visited the fascinating tunnels and caverns of this popular Utah County summer destination.

Minerals deposited over millions of years have created shapes called popcorn, helicites, flowstone, and draperies. The variety and abundance of multi-colored formations makes Timpanogos Cave one of the most-visited caves in the country.

To reach the opening, visitors climb 1,160 feet on a 1 1/2 mile paved trail. The hike is as enjoyable as the cave tour (if you are in good shape!) with spectacular views of thick pine forests and upturned layers of deep red sedimentary rock on the steep canyon walls.

Timpanogos Cave is located in American Fork Canyon on Highway 92, ten miles east of I-15 and 17.2 miles from U.S 189. Cave tours are offered daily through the summer season. Tickets can be purchased at the visitor’s center at the trailhead.

To get to American Fork Canyon from Brittany Apartments, you have two options. You can travel north on surface streets through Orem, Lindon, Pleasant Grove, and Cedar Hills to get to the mouth of the canyon. Or you can take Provo Canyon Road (U.S. 189) to U.S. 92. U.S. 92 is known by Provo locals as the Alpine Loop. It winds past Sundance Resort linking Provo Canyon to American Fork Canyon. The distance from Provo Canyon Road to Timpanogos Cave is 17 miles. Alpine Loop is a narrow, extremely twisty road that passes through picturesque Alpine meadows revealing breathtaking views of majestic Mount Timpanogos.

The BYU Museum of Art (or MOA) is not only one of the best attended art museums in the Mountain West region, but it is also the largest. The Provo museum boasts a permanent collection of more than 16,500 objects and frequently rotates these pieces in their exhibits. Many traveling shows make a stop at the BYU MOA as well as other unique temporary exhibitions. The MOA building, designed by James Langernheim, is a modern Utah Valley work of art itself.

The Provo student performing arts are thriving at BYU. The Gerrit de Jong, Jr., Concert Hall in the Harris Fine Arts Center is used for a variety of musical performances. Everything from musical theater productions to major choral and instrumental concerts to live film and television events happen in this beautiful Provo college venue with its simple aesthetics and outstanding acoustics.

Other theaters and recital halls around BYU campus feature smaller dance performances, choral recitals, solo recitals, and chamber music. The Philip N. Margetts Arena Theatre provides an exciting experimental venue for Provo student directors and playwrights to engage a smaller audience in creative new ways.
